What is a Near Miss?

In the workplace, incidents that have the potential to cause harm to employees, the workplace, or work equipment but do not actually result in harm are referred to as near-miss incidents.

In accordance with the Occupational Health and Safety Law No. 6331, recording and reporting all types of near-miss incidents is of great importance for taking precautions against future workplace accidents.
